Snacks for a Skeleton Orchestra is a suite of 5 pieces by Mike Mower for piccolo. viola and double bass lasting about 18 minutes.
For advanced players, this suite is accessible to discerning audiences whilst being challenging and fun to perform. Mike was commissioned to compose it by a consortium of 20 piccolists from European orchestras, the brief for the suite was to be loosely based around folk music and the individual movements reflect this. The movements are:

Chorinho Pequeno
Tudor Tune
