Saxo-Fifty was commissioned by the German saxophone quartet “Saxofourte” in 2000. They recorded it on their album “From Here To There” (RCA/BMG 74321 96866 2). Scored for SATB this is an exciting funky piece with a tenor melody, optional improvised solo for soprano or alto and a trademark big tutti section. Fun for band and audience alike!
